Sunday 8:00 AM Worship and Holy Communion
This is our more traditional service, which means more
traditional prayers and hymns. It lasts about one hour. The
service is followed by an opportunity for laying on of hands
and anointing with oil for healing. After the service we
welcome everyone to join us for refreshments in the Fellowship
Hall.
Sunday 9:15 AM Adult Education/
Bible Study/Children's Sunday School
This is usually a Bible Study, led by the Pastor. Sometimes
we use other materials, for example, in February and March we
did a study of Rick Warren’s The Purpose-Driven Life. We
encourage discussion, asking questions and sharing opinions as
we seek to know God better by learning more about God through
His Holy Word. Our children have their own Sunday School at
this time.
Sunday 10:30 AM
Worship and Holy Communion (Contemporary)
This is a more contemporary service, which means a more
informal service with more contemporary praise music and
prayers. Child Care is available during the whole
service. The service lasts about 90 minutes and is followed by
an opportunity for laying on of hands and anointing with oil
for healing. After the service, we welcome everyone to join us
for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
Monday 10:00 AM Women’s Fellowship,
Prayer and Bible Study
This is a time of fellowship, sharing, intercessory prayer,
and Bible reflection. The women meet about 1 1/2 hours, and some of the women go out to lunch together.
Wednesdays Noon Holy Communion
This is a very short, meditative service of prayer and Holy
Communion, lasting only 30 minutes. There is no music and we
don’t take up a collection, either.
Wednesday 7:00 PM Worship and Prayers for Healing
This is a very informal service of prayer, praise music, a
Bible lesson with some discussion, and a special time of
praying for healing (as a group and individual prayers). Child
Care is available during the service, which last about an
hour. After the service, we welcome everyone to join us for
refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
